Collection: The Glass & Pearls Collection

The Glass and pearls collection is a collaborative project between Elizabeth Welch Glass and the Courtyard Workshop. 

Each piece is created from Elizabeth's hand crafted lamp worked borosilicate glass chains and 9ct gold elements combined with freshwater pearls hand made by Nikki here at the workshop. 

The Borosilicate glass gives delicate appearance but is actually incredibly strong and durable once annealed in the kiln. It is a visually a contradiction to its self. 

The 9ct gold give each piece a feeling on luxury and sits as a the only colour to the pieces. 

Complimented by the freshwater pearls which luster reflects the shiny of the glass and gives the feeling of elegance and timelessness contrasting with modern simplicity of the chain.
